Renault Master EGR Flap, Common problem breaking the Turbo
Bad EGR Flap chew wings away on turbo or jams the turbo and the wings stays intact.
Sympthom on this Renault Master is loss of power and check injection light, turbo failure. It's a common fault..
This is also the same van as the Nissan NV400 and Opel Movano.
Models: All the single turbo models running a mahle cooler will do it eventually, modified cooler is made by beru. Perhaps 9/10 you will be lucky and the flap will just jam the turbo but there is always the one time that will destroy it.
Folding roof on Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer / Citroen Relay

The roof itself has a fiberglass frame that slots inside the van and goes to the outside also. Josh is not using it as a bed but more for head room so he can have a higher garage and still put the bed in the garage roof with loads of head room.
Josh bought it off a closed down camper company and fitted it himself so basically it cost him about £1000 wich was the price of the roof (sca 194 roof new, they are £4500 for the specification that Josh is)
I have noticed that the cargo space in my Citroen Jumper L3H2 2014 tilts forward just over 2cm per meter. You who built a bed across the boxer jumper ducato, have now built it in wave or after the beam?
Answer: Check if it level when fully loaded and make the angle after your weight.

Someone wondered a while ago how to adjust the headlamp on the Citroen Jumper / Fiat Ducato.
There is a plug in the rainwater gutter and then you insert a hexagon in the white knob on the headlight.

"There are two screws on each side of the bonnet, but before removing I used a pen to mark where / how it was lined up. Best to have an helper while lifting off the bonnet.
Wipers are one nut under the black cover. After removing nut. Bend the arm toward window and back. Normally easy too remove." - Egil Fjeldså

Rain messes up the injectors, water getting onto the Ducato engine..
From the comment section: "If this water frees and you have a belt driven cam belt it may jump over a and make the valvs hit the pisten."
They still havent fixed it.. this is 2013 model.

less than 20 quid eurocarparts, i think its a 24mm and 18 spanners - make sure they give you the uk-abs version and not give you a smaller non-abs euro one...
rac man fixed it in about 40 minutes but he split the cv boot whilst getting old ball joint out
dont use silicone use a pu adhesive sealent it will last longer than the rest of the boot

Ta loss handskfacket med massa torxskruvar och sedan finns det en lucka som sitter med två 5,5mm sexkantskruv.

Kolla så det inte fuktar kylarvätska i botten av kylaren för den fick jag byta,kolla även så inte lagren i kylfläktarna glappar för fläktpaketet har jag också bytt.
Torkarmotorn verkar vara en klassiker med så är den inte redan bytt så är det snart dags.
Massa felmeddelanden och larm vill man inte ha heller.

Sprinter är glorifierad pryl som rostar sönder och helt ärligt är svintung och onödigt hög (inte i markfrigång utan bakhjulsdriften tar så mycket plats under golvet) pga bakhjulsdriften.
"Master har jag kört i jobbet = aldrig mer NÅGONSIN, kostade 150k i rep under 2år pga kabelpiskor som behövde bytas, styrboxar som brändes och växellådan rasade.
Crafter med manuell låda tenderar till ha drev och synkringar gjorda i typ glas samt vw motorer är väl inte direkt det mest pålitligaste som finns..
Ford transit dras med ständiga spridarproblem i övrigt solid samt bra balksystem i väggarna för att maximera platsen.
Så pick a choice, pest eller kolera
Men mina pengar går oavkortat till en Fiat Ducato med 3L dieseln på 160hk och manuell låda trots att den lider av EGR-problem (men det finns det lösningar på) just pga det är en ruskigt trevlig och bränslesnål motor samt karossen är största av dem alla rent volumetriskt." - Patrick E.
- Hur löser man egr problemen?
"Pluggar den och om det behövs, mappar bort egr-ventilerna från styrsystemet.
Det viktiga är att lådan är specad till max 420nm och motorn ger 410nm så trimma något är out of the question helt enkelt!
Men just 3L fiatmotorn satte fart på min tidigare 4,5t ladugårdvägg till husbil som ingenting och kasselbackarna letade jag efter hela vägen ner till Spanien" - Patrik E.

"En annan orsak är att många bilfirmor använder startkablar då batteriet är urladdat, oftast sätter dom jordkabeln på bläcket vid torkar motorn som då orsakar smälta kablar i stammen.
Det i sin tur kan orsaka överslag och konstiga saker händer.
Jag har det problemet när dimljusen eller extra värmaren används.
Nu har jag lärt mig detta så vid nästa bilköp inspekterar jag kabelstammen bakom vänster halvljus."

Han varnar för att ligga dra på sexan för länge på motorvägar. Kan va bra växla ner till femman ibland.
Sexans växel har nämligen inget kullagrat drev utan glider bara på oljehinna.
Motorerna är väldigt bra. Tempsensor på insuget är vanligaste saken som går sönder."

Electric problem on Fiat Ducato..

Ja den klarade nästan 8000mil innan elen brann,cittran fixade ju drygt 10000 innan det började lägga av div elgrunkor på den men nu har den hållt sig lugn ett tag och närmar sig 18000mil.
Men dom är billiga i inköp och snåla på bränsle samt imponerande tåliga mot rost

Johan S. I det här fallet började det med att bilen inte gick att stänga av med nyckeln,allt slocknade men motorn stannade inte.
Lite senare började kupefläkten gå av sig själv när bilen stod parkerad och lukten av bränd el kändes Vida omkring 😉
